Annie Vogel

Annie Vogel is originally from Cincinnati, OH but grew up all over the US. Annie received her B.S. in Horticulture from the University of Georgia where she discovered a love for working with fruit crops. She continued at UGA to receive a M.S. focused on improving winegrape production in the Southeast. From there, she began a PhD at NC State studying horticultural inputs in young apple orchards. Annie joined the faculty at UT Knoxville in January 2025 as an assistant professor and fruit extension specialist.
