Ron White

Ron White was born in Gatlinburg, and hails from several generations of East Tennessee beekeepers.  He lives in Mulberry, TN in Lincoln County with his wife Donna.  Ron and Donna have five children and nine beautiful grandchildren.  He retired from the U. S. Navy in 2010 after serving 33 years on active duty.  Ron holds a Masters Degree in Human Resource Development.Ron is a former South Middle Regional Vice President for the Tennessee Beekeepers Association and is active in the Lincoln County Beekeepers Association and the Elk Valley Beekeepers Association.  His Apiary averages around 10 hives where he maintains traditional Langstroth Hives as well as Langstroth Horizontal Hives most of which he built himself from locally sourced cedar.Ron has completed the Tennessee Master Beekeeping Program first level, taught several Beginner Beekeeping courses and is a state certified Hive Inspector.  Ron and his wife Donna actively attend Agricultural workshops and conferences always trying to learn more and to meet new folks with like interests.
