Lisa Roach

Lisa's interest in food and agriculture started during her childhood, while visiting her grandparent's farm in rural Germany, and while helping her parents back home with gardening. This upbringing led her to pursue an education in food systems at San Francisco State University where she majored in Family and Consumer Sciences with an emphasis in Nutrition. Lisa is currently delighted to be part of the MarketLink team as a Regional Representative. She assists farmers' markets and direct marketing farmers throughout the country in becoming SNAP authorized and set up grant funded processing equipment. Outside of MarketLink, Lisa supports local food by shopping at one of the many farmers markets offered in San Francisco.
