Kelsey and Kirby Davis

Kirby and Kelsey are first generation farmers who started Blooming Acres Farm in 2019 as a regenerative market farm and have since expanded into a full-scale flower farm implementing sustainable farming practices. Kirby Davis is a veteran fire-fighter, now full-time farmer and farm manager. Kelsey Davis is a full-time environmental consultant for the TN Dept of Environment and Conservation who serves part time as a farm manager. Together they work to implement regenerative practices that replenish the soil and natural resources, such as providing habitat and biodiversity for native pollinators and insects, 100% chemical-free growing, minimal soil disturbance techniques, and more. In 2023, they became River Friendly Certified by the Cumberland River Compact, and continue to work to improve their farming methods in harmony with nature.
