Becca Grub

Community Cares AmeriCorps Director. Born and raised in New Jersey, where her mother and five siblings still reside. Moving to North Carolina to attend East Carolina

University, where she graduated in June 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She has a natural heart for helping people from close friends and family, all the way up to the community

at large. As an AmeriCorps Alumni, and in a greater role now leading the directorship of the

Community Cares AmeriCorps Program for Tennessee Community Assistance Corporation

(TCAC). In this role for the last five years, she is serving out the mission and is responsible for

the overall management and operations of the program. She is dedicated in making sure the

programs continue to grow stronger and serve the communities across the state of Tennessee.

Throughout the five years of leadership, she has been awarded over $1.8 million dollars in grant

funding and managed over 300 volunteers.

Becca has lived in East Tennessee almost a decade, where in her free time she enjoys moments with her family, exploring the great outdoors, and volunteering her extra time throughout the community on various projects.
