Ron Bridges

Ron Bridges grew up in Florida where he worked in horticulture before joining the Army.  During his 12 years of service, he and his wife Brenda had two sons who both later joined the military.  In 2012, when his sons returned home as combat veterans, Ron and his family moved onto a 30 acre property bought on foreclosure.  They have been using regenerative agriculture techniques to turn this property into BeeRidges Farm with the motto: ‘Healing the Land as we Heal Ourselves”.  Ron and his family are active in the local veterans community and Ron is the founding President of the Farmer Veteran Coalition Tennessee chapter (FVC-TN).  Ron is also a Biology Professor at Pellissippi State Community College where he serves as the Chair of Pre-Health Sciences.
