Stacey Shands

Stacey Shands is a West Tennessee native. She has gardened since childhood, but her quest for growing cut flowers began in 2020 while working as a Mental Health Registered Nurse and living in Minnesota. Longing for home, and a longer growing season, Stacey moved back to Tennessee in 2022 where she began to grow fall-planted cold hardy annuals along with summer annuals. Her time spent in Minnesota earned her valuable experience with managing cold temperatures and cut flowers through the use of season extension methods. Stacey focuses on high return cool season cut flower crops such as snapdragon, ranunculus, anemone, and more. Stacey has a passion for educating others on efficient seed starting, the importance of locally grown flowers, and intensive planting on a micro-scale.
