Tyler Sneed, is a fourth-generation farmer and visionary entrepreneur. He spearheads the agricultural legacy of Red River Farms, a venture he established in 2012. He began by continuing his family’s traditional way of farming by growing tobacco, corn, wheat and soybeans but his innovative spirit led him to transform his property into a multifaceted venue. In 2015, he introduced weddings with the very first wedding being his own with wife Margo. Since then, they have added a six-year-old daughter, Lucy, and three-year-old son, Lane, to the farm. Further expanding his operation, Tyler launched the acclaimed Sunflower Festival in 2020. This annual event not only allows guests to immerse themselves in beautiful settings for photography but also offers an engaging platform for over 60 vendors. Tyler has served on the Tennessee Agritourism Association Board for nine years, in various positions, and three years as President, and is currently serving a second time as Vice President. He has been a member of the Association since 2012. Tyler continues to redefine farming by seamlessly blending agriculture, hospitality and community engagement.
