Brian Muetze

Brian and his wife Melissa have been married for 32 years, raised 5 kids, and 4 grandchildren. He farmed with his dad, mom, and brothers for 40 years west of Chicago. They raised hogs, corn, soybeans, produce, and had a large shade tree wholesale nursery & landscaping. In 2018, after his dad closed the farm, Brian moved his family 525 miles to Huron, TN to start their own operation. Sunset Valley Farms consists of growing corn, soybeans, sweet corn, and pumpkins. Events at the farm include an Easter festival, Fall festival, Christmas Lights drive thru, food truck, brick & mortar produce market, and educational school field trips. He is the current President of the Tennessee Agritourism Association, having served on the Board the past four years.  He is passionate about promoting and supporting the growth of agritourism in Tennessee. With a deep appreciation of agriculture, he recognizes the importance of connecting consumers with the origins of their food and fostering an understanding of farming practices.
