Shannon Carey

Shannon E.B. Carey is a leading New England sustainable wedding florist, mixed-media artist, and educator. Since 2021, her floral studio, Three Roots Floral Design, has been serving couples across the Eastern Seaboard, designing with only 100% American-grown flowers. Partnering with her local CT flower collective, she can utilize hyper-local flowers for her clients from April to October and works with farms in CA, WA, TX, FL, TN, and AK to supplement the local flowers she cherishes. When not designing expansive wedding flower stories, Shannon can be found at farmer’s markets in the area, connecting with new floral growers to expand her network of local flower providers. Shannon resides in CT but considers TN her second home! She has a BFA in Art Education from Belmont University. When she is in town you will often find her a Cheekwood…the site of her college internship, which began her love for all that is locally grown and sustainably fostered.
