Celeste Scott

UT Extension Horticulture Agent Celeste Scott is a native West Tennessean who was raised on a production beef cattle and row crop farm in Gibson County. Her passion for plants began early in life. As a young woman she ran a three-acre truck crop patch, and she worked at nurseries and garden centers throughout high school and college. Celeste attended Middle Tennessee State University and earned an undergraduate degree in Plant and Soil Science in 2007. From there she joined the Tennessee Farmers Cooperative, staying for seven years before coming to the UT Extension. Celeste is currently completing her master's degree in Agriculture and Natural Resources Management at the University of Tennessee at Martin. She is married and has two young children.
